Adult Connection

Pathways

Pathyways is a Discipleship / Small Group Ministry of First Baptist Church, with the purpose of providing” an intimate group of people committed to growing in Christ together, encouraging and supporting one another, to obey all that Christ commanded.”

Winter 2010 groups will include a variety of groups, many yet to be defined. Some oportunities will include Dave Ramsey, Christian Financial Management precepts: “Lead Like Jesus;” along with Wednesday mornings for women and weekly prayer groups. Watch for more information coming soon.

If you have immediate questions or suggestions, please contact Lisa Dean, Pathways Director.

Triad

Are you interested in a Small Group but…

  • Don’t feel like you have the time.
  • Don’t feel comfortable in sharing your thoughts in a larger group.
  • Don’t feel like you have enough room in your home to accommodate a group.
  • Don’t want to make a long-term commitment to a study.

Then, a Traid may be just what you have been waiting for!

What is a Traid?

  • A very, intimate Small Group of three people: Three men, three women, or two couples.
  • The group sets their calendar for meeting (recommend meeting a least twice a month), each session lasting only 90 minutes.
  • Can meet anywhere: someone’s home; a corner in your favorite restaurant; or a meeting room in a library or other public places.
  • Materials can be selected from many faith-based topics or books. Can be a deeper Bible Study; a contemporary life application; or a book review group.
  • Length of time can be as little as 6 weeks or as long as 6 months.
